Cookies
Version 1.3.
TakeAwayer stores only what the site needs to work, plus your choice of language. Nothing is used for advertising, tracking or profiling, and no data is shared with third parties for such purposes. Visit statistics are measured by Umami without cookies: nothing is stored in your browser for that purpose.
| What | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ta_session | Keeps a restaurant signed in to the admin view. | 30 days |
ta_impersonate | Lets us open a restaurant's admin view for support. Never set for guests. | The session |
ta-lang2 | Remembers which language to show - either the one you chose or the one your browser states on a first visit. | 1 year |
The basket | Kept in the browser's session storage so it survives a change of language. | Until the tab closes |
Sign-in marker | Kept in the browser's local storage in the admin view, so a valid session is not extended more often than needed. | Until you log out |
Why there is no consent box
Consent is required for storage that is not necessary for the service you asked for - typically advertising and analytics tools. Everything in the table above is either necessary for the service to work or a setting you control yourself, and that calls for information rather than consent. A box asking permission for things we set regardless would be misleading.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page and ask for consent before anything of the kind is set.
You can delete cookies in your browser at any time. Delete the language cookie and the site picks a language from your browser again; delete the session cookie and you are signed out of the admin view.
